Game Of Thrones' Jon Snow Officially Returns In Hand Of The King

Cementing himself as one of the most memorable fictional characters in history, Jon Snow is set to make a triumphant return this month. It has been seven years since we last saw him become one of the few characters to survive Game of Thrones as he returned to the Wall following the events of the much-talked-about finale.
As the Bastard of Winterfell, Jon Snow did not do too bad for himself. Not only did he climb the ranks of the Nightswatch, return from the dead, and find love, but he also discovered that, alongside Daenerys, he was the last remaining Targaryen. We can only hope that his luck is as strong in Winds of Winter, if and when the next book in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga is released.
For now, however, Game of Thrones' influence certainly did not die with the show as, since it ended back in 2019, HBO has released two spin-off shows: House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and that is not to mention Aegon's Conquest, which is currently in production.
On top of that, the video game sphere has also been jumping on the bandwagon with hit mobile games such as Game of Thrones: Legends leading the charge whilst fans wait for the launch of Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, a real-time strategy title which is expected to launch some time in 2027.
It is Game of Thrones: Legends that is the subject of today's news, as it appears as though Jon Snow will be making his triumphant return in an event which is currently running on the hit mobile RPG.
The Game of Thrones-inspired mobile game was released back in 2024 by Zynga and has since welcomed regular content updates which correspond with the ever-growing television universe. As such, players can expect to see characters and events from both House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, as well as Game of Thrones, and as the ASOIAF universe continues to grow, no doubt this game will also expand.
At the time of writing, the September-October 2026 events for Game of Thrones: Legends are still in full swing, and on top of brand-new quests, locations, and characters, it seems as though the Hand of the King event, which runs from 23 September to 21 October, at 2 a.m. ET, will see the return of not just Jon Snow, but also Ned Stark, Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, Rob Stark, and Catelyn Stark. Known as Legendary Champions, they will be able to be summoned with exalted tokens, and will no doubt make an invaluable part of your team.
With the event calendar for the month coming to an end for Game of Thrones: Legends, we can no doubt expect the next roadmap to be announced very soon, and so, if you were thinking of sinking some hours into another mobile game, you will not find more content than in this Game of Thrones-inspired hit.
