he Ranji Trophy 2026-27 season began on Sunday, October 11, with 19 matches scheduled in the opening round. Defending champion Jammu and Kashmir takes on Madhya Pradesh, while Ravindra Jadeja features for Saurashtra against Chhattisgarh. Hit a midwicket six off Washington Sundar and ducked and guided a bouncer from Deepesh over the ‘keeper’s head for four.
