Actress Bhagyashri Borse calls Captain Smit Machchhar a ‘Real Life Hero’

Actress Bhagyashri Borse has praised Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his bravery during a dramatic incident on board a FlyDubai flight. The actress, who is currently shooting for Mohanlal-starrer ‘Operation Ganga’ in Georgia, called the pilot a “Real Life Hero” in a special appreciation post.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Bhagyashri Borse wrote, “Thank you, Captain Smit. The Real Life hero! Some heroes are silent, wearing their uniforms and simply doing their duty. But when the moment demands it, their invisible cape appears,revealing the true Indian hero within.India is proud of you sir.”

Captain Smit Machchhar came into the spotlight after a serious incident on board FlyDubai flight FZ1073, which was travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv with 174 people on board.According to reports, the co-pilot allegedly attacked Captain Machchhar inside the cockpit with the intention of crashing the aircraft. Despite suffering serious injuries, the Indian pilot managed to open the cockpit door, allowing passengers and other crew members to intervene.

Captain Machchhar’s actions have received praise from several people, including celebrities from the Indian film industry. Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have also expressed their appreciation for the pilot’s bravery.

Talking about Bhagyashri Borse work, she made her Tollywood debut with Ravi Teja’s ‘Mr Bachchan’.

She later appeared in ‘Kingdom’ and ‘Andhra King Taluka’ and received appreciation for her Tamil debut ‘Kaantha’.The actress was last seen in the village romance drama ‘Lenin’ opposite Akhil Akkineni, where she played Bharati.Meanwhile, Bhagyashri Borse is also expected to be seen in the Tamil action drama ‘Seyon’, starring Sivakarthikeyan and backed by Kamal Haasan.
