Mohun Bagan Super Giant started its Indian Super League (ISL) 2026-27 campaign with widely-changed starting lineup, against NorthEast United in Guwahati on Monday.

One of the major names missing from the matchday squad was its Australian forward Jamie Maclaren, who joined in the 2024-25 season, had been a mainstay in attack for the club until last season.

This season, Scottish forward Lee Erwin joined the club, and has started the match against the Highlanders.

Why is Jamie Maclaren not playing in Mohun Bagan vs NorthEast United?

Maclaren is not playing in the ISL match between Mohun Bagan and NorthEast United because he suffered a minor injury during the previous IFA Shield match between the two teams, ruling him out of this game.
