Vice President Sara Duterte would be traveling to Hong Kong from November 6 to 8, 2026, to attend some activities, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) said Friday.

According to the OVP, the Vice President would attend engagements and participate in various activities, including an event organized by the Filipino community in Hong Kong.

“The Vice President shall cover the cost of her travel using personal funds. No government money, resources, or facilities shall be used in connection with her travel,” the OVP said.

Duterte’s office also said the Vice President secured an order dated November 3, from the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 98, granting her permission to travel abroad.

The Office of the President also issued Duterte a corresponding travel authority, it added.

The impeachment trial of Duterte will resume on Monday, November 9, with the defense panel set to present its evidence. —AOL, GMA News
