The Cure’s Robert Smith Promises More Concerts and New Music in 2027

Translate

Robert Smith has confirmed The Cure will hit the live stage in 2027 with new material in tow.

In a brief pre-recorded segment for BBC Radio 6 Music acknowledging the band’s nomination for 2026 Artist of the Year, Smith teased what’s ahead: “I’m looking forward to more Cure concerts in 2027. Of course I’m not allowed to say where or when yet, but I’m confident they’ll be bursting with new songs.”

The Cure have been teasing a follow-up to their 2024 album, Songs from a Lost World, for some time now, though a release date has yet to be announced.
