Other recent Paramount+ releases include South Park, Marshals, and Avatar: Seven Havens, but the following three series are the latest and greatest to stream on Paramount+ this weekend.
All three of these Paramount+ series are trending worldwide right now, are critically acclaimed, and have new episode drops every Friday. For these reasons and more, they are ScreenRant's official picks for the best Paramount+ series to binge this weekend. Also, be sure to check out our updated streaming guides for Netflix, Prime Video, and HBO Max, tailor-made for this Halloween weekend.
MobLand
MobLand season 2 has been in full swing since it premiered back on September 18 and has been one of the most=watched series on Paramount+ ever since. Its seventh of 10 season 2 episodes will be released on Friday, October 30, making now a great time to dive into the series if you haven't already ahead of its November 20 season finale. MobLand season 2 earned a Rotten Tomatoes score of 90% and features a stellar cast led by Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren.
MobLand season 2 ups the ante for Tom Hardy's protagonist, Harry Da Souza, who struggles to protect the crumbling Harrigan crime family. As their loyal fixer and enforcer, Harry has a familial devotion to the group, so much so that he has prioritized their needs over those of his family. MobLand season 2 also features some of the best villains in the show's history, adding a stark degree of tension that makes it hard to turn away from.
Tulsa King
Tulsa King season 4 continues its rollout this Friday, October 30, dropping its third out of 10 total episodes. The latest season of the Taylor Sheridan mob drama series starring Sylvester Stallone began with the shocking deaths of two characters and has placed Dwight at his most vulnerable position in series history. Stallone leads a talented ensemble that includes Martin Starr, Garrett Hedlund, and recently introduced Samuel L. Jackson as the Frisco King, who will be getting his own series in December.
Tulsa King season 4 earned an 86% Rotten Tomatoes score and will drop new episodes every Friday until December 18. Although it frequently competes with MobLand for the title of best mob drama series on Paramount+, Tulsa King is certainly more popular, as it has held the streamer's #1 worldwide viewership spot for the better part of the last two weeks. Whether you love every Taylor Sheridan series or watch everything Stallone stars in, Tulsa King is easily one of the best new shows to watch this weekend on Paramount+.
Dexter: Resurrection
Dexter: Resurrection season 2 finally premieres on Friday, October 30, bringing back Michal C. Hall as the iconic serial killer with a conscience, Dexter Morgan. Far from his Miami days, where he quietly established a name for himself as the Bay Harbor Butcher, Dexter now resides in New York City with his son, Harrison, and is on the verge of a midlife crisis as he faces new threats, competition, and various struggles of aging. Resurrection season 2 also features the return of several season 1 characters while also introducing two new killers played by Brian Cox and Dan Stevens.
Dexter: Resurrection season 2 debuted with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 86%, based on just six reviews, down from its near-perfect 95% for the first season. ScreenRant gave it 9/10 stars, noting, "Dexter: Resurrection season 2 is devilishly delightful and could easily be the best season of Dexter that we've gotten in years." Similarly, Collider gave it 8/10 stars, writing, "There are some growing pains, but the series finds its footing fast, and though Dexter might be getting older, there’s still plenty of life left in his Dark Passenger." Dexter is officially back this weekend and is our #1 pick to watch on Paramount+ right now.
