MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Quezon City were submerged in floodwaters following heavy rains brought by localized thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon, the local government said.

In an advisory, the local government listed the following areas affected by flood as of 2:50 p.m.:

Ankle-deep flood, up to 9 inches
