Translate

Two German nationals were arrested on suspicion of photographing security facilities and security-related activities near Damon Prison on Saturday night.

The two were spotted near the entrance to the facility and photographing it with their cellphones, prompting the dispatch of additional prison officers, who approached the two men and conducted an initial inspection.

An examination of their cellphones revealed the images, raising further suspicions about why they were at the location and why the took the photos.

Following the discovery, the case was handed over to Israel Police, which launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
