Antonio Raimondo came away as the highest-rated player in Serie A after the seventh round of 2026-27 fixtures over the weekend after his hat-trick in an eventual 4-2 victory over Sassuolo on Friday night, but who else features in this week’s list of highest-performing Italy players?
The seventh round of Serie A fixtures began with Frosinone’s 4-2 victory over Sassuolo on Friday night and came to an end with Torino’s 3-0 win away against Parma on Monday evening. The goals keep coming thick and fast in Serie A this season: There was an average of 3.5 goals in every game this weekend!

The highest rated player in Serie A this weekend, Italian or otherwise, was Frosinone and Italy U21 striker Raimondo, who made it seven goals from seven top-flight appearances this season with his hat-trick against Sassuolo. He was given a rating of 9/10 by Sky Sport Italia and various other outlets across Italy this weekend.
Three other Frosinone players are also included in this week’s top 10 highest-rated Italy stars.
The top three also includes Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi, who came away with a rating of 7.5/10 despite being on the losing end of a 3-2 scoreline against Milan this weekend. He did save one of the two penalties that Goncalo Ramos took in San Siro.

Roma wing-back Emanuele Lulli was also given a rating of 7.5/10 this weekend, completing the top three in this week’s list of best-performing Italy stars. That was his first ever goal at Serie A level.
