Meghan, Duchess of Sussex confirmed for presenting role in MasterChef franchise

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has landed a new role as part of Junior MasterChef Australia.
The former Suits actress will join the upcoming series for aspiring young chefs, which is set to air on Australia’s Channel 10 next year.
The channel announced the news on Instagram in a post that simply read: "Junior MasterChef Australia is back on the menu in 2027!
"Poh Ling Yeow will be joined by special guest Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, to help guide the next generation of young culinary talent."
Her co-hosting role comes shortly after she appeared as a guest judge on the adult version of MasterChef Australia, drawing in the show's largest Sunday audience in two years.

The Duchess has made no secret of her love for cooking and homemaking, previously fronting her own Netflix series, With Love, Megan, for two seasons across 2024 and 2025.
The show followed Meghan as she let audiences into her kitchen and garden home, sharing how-to guides and recipes, with celebrity guests joining her for conversations around food and hosting.
Her involvement in Junior MasterChef Australia comes shortly after she and husband Prince Harry relocated from the US to the UK.
The pair announced their return this August after spending six years living in Los Angeles, with their children, Archie and Lilibet, now enrolled in English schools.

At the time of the move, she was heavily rumoured to be in talks to join season three of Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen.
However, the speculation was later debunked, with the Duchess showing no apparent intention of returning to the acting world.
Asked whether she could foresee a return in 2022, Markle told Variety: "No, I’m done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not."
