Parul Chaudhary wins bronze in 3000m steeplechase with Personal Best time

Parul Chaudhary bagged the bronze medal in the women’s 3000m steeplechase with a Personal Best time of 9:08.67 on Sunday.
The 32-year-old finished behind Bahrain’s Winfred Yavi, who registered a Games Record of 9:04.36, and Kazakhstan’s Norah Tanui (9:06.82).
Ankita also managed a PB in her time of 9:19.24 but just missed out on a medal, finishing fourth.
Parul had won the silver medal in Hangzhou in 2023. Yavi had won the gold in the previous edition as well.
Parul will be in action in the women’s 5000m, an event which he won three years ago.
