Ravens land next QB as trade for Cardinals' Brissett completed
The Baltimore Ravens have completed their trade for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett, the teams announced Friday.
The Ravens will acquire Brissett and a 2027 fifth-round pick for a fourth-round pick in 2027 and seventh-round pick in 2028, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Sources told Rapoport that the Cardinals are paying a little more than half of Brissett's remaining 2026 salary.
Baltimore and Arizona were finalizing a trade to send Brissett to the Ravens ahead of Thursday's 33-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Ravens were in need of a quarterback after losing starting quarterback Lamar Jackson to a potentially season-ending thumb injury that will require surgery and backup Tyler "Snoop" Huntley to a turf toe injury.
Sources had told Schefter and Rapoport on Wednesday that Huntley will miss the rest of the season.
In the interim, undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano started for the Ravens on Thursday, going 10-for-18 for 60 yards with two interceptions in the loss to the Jaguars.
