Following the cancellation of Law & Order: SVU spinoff Organized Crime, Christopher Meloni's future in the long-running franchise has now been confirmed.
TVLine reports that Meloni will reprise his role as Elliot Stabler in Law & Order: SVU's 600th episode, which will air during the show's upcoming 28th season. So far, the popular series starring Mariska Hargitay has aired 594 episodes, which means the major milestone will be the sixth episode of Law & Order: SVU season 28.
