Francesco Pio Esposito is delighted with Inter’s 3-0 win over Feyenoord, in which he scored for the first time since September 14: ‘Goals are like oxygen.’
The Italian striker scored the second goal of the night for the Nerazzurri, who beat Feyenoord on the road 3-0 on Tuesday.

Cristian Chivu’s men quickly bounced back after a 3-1 derby defeat against Milan in Serie A just a few days earlier.
“It wasn’t a given. We were good at having that reaction against a tough opponent,” Pio told Sky Sport.
“We were good at stepping onto the pitch with the right approach and taking the game where we wanted.
“Surely, we analyse defeats. We did, and I’m happy we put words into action.”

Inter have six points in four Champions League games; do they feel they can still finish in the top eight?
“It’s still very long. We must focus on one game at a time, thinking that we can play on par with everyone until the end,” Pio Esposito said.
His goal against Feyenoord was his first at club level since September 14.
“Surely, a goal is like oxygen for a striker, but I try to put the work for the team ahead of everything else and I’m happy to have ended my drought,” he concluded.
