5 Emmerdale spoilers for tonight as Joe receives shocking Dawn news

Emmerdale spoilers follow from Friday's episode (2 October), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn't aired on ITV1 yet.

In tonight's Emmerdale, Kim braces herself for more trouble as she tells Joe the latest news about Vinny's legal case.

Elsewhere, Sarah spots an opportunity to get Charity out of prison, and Manpreet despairs when Gabby seems determined to ignore her advice.

Read on for five big moments coming up…

1. Joe is shocked by Kim's revelation

It's a new day at Home Farm following Joe's controversial decision to give baby Tate away.

With the dust starting to settle, Kim decides that it's time to tell Joe what Thea revealed about Vinny's legal case – he will only face charges for Jimmy's death, not Dawn's. How will Joe deal with the lack of justice?

2. Billy has his say

Billy is shocked as word reaches him that baby Tate has been adopted.

He arrives at Home Farm to give Joe a piece of his mind, pointing out that Dawn would have been disgusted by his decision. But is Joe prepared to listen to his former love rival?

3. Sarah makes a discovery

Sarah is grateful when Serena gives her advice on how to deal with Charity's predicament, with the trial date now set.

However, when Sarah later spots Serena and Thea clearly in cahoots together, she realises that they're keeping secrets and decides to investigate further. After all, this could be another way to help Charity if Sarah gets creative…

4. Manpreet confronts Gabby again

Manpreet worries when she witnesses Clemmie and Dotty viewing some of Gabby's social media reels, which push some extreme views on "healthy eating".

The penny starts to drop for Manpreet and she goes to see Gabby, sharing a new theory on what's going on.

5. Vinny makes plans

Vinny knows that he'll be going to prison soon, so starts to make preparations for this inevitable outcome.

In a chat with Aaron at the café, Vinny outlines his plans and needs Aaron's help to make them a reality.
