Srikanth Odela reveals real-life incidents that inspired Nani’s ‘The Paradise’

Nani’s much awaited ‘The Paradise’ is set around the plot of a marginalized community that has been denied basic rights for years and the actor as a leader who fights back the oppression.

Recently, the director Srikanth Odela revealed that several real-life incidents he witnessed while growing up in his hometown inspired the story of the film.

As per IANS, during a recent interaction with the media, the director was asked about the inspiration behind the film. He explained that he took several incidents he witnessed around his hometown and incorporated them into the story.“The film is based on several little real life incidents which I witnessed while growing up.

I have seen several incidents near my hometown. I have taken several incidents from Telangana and made it as a part of the film,” Srikanth said.

Earlier, the director also explained the larger story behind ‘The Paradise’. He described it as an emotional film about a mother and son and the struggles of a marginalised community.“This is a revolutionary, emotional film. It is a story about a mother and son, and also about a marginalized community,” he said.

The ‘Dasara’ director also referred to a line by poet Kaloji and explained how it connects with the film’s story. “We own our birth, we own our death, but our entire life belongs to the nation,” he quoted.According to the director, the film follows people who fought for their country but later realise that they have no place in their own country. Their struggle then takes a different turn.

Nani calls ‘The Paradise’ his most tiring film

Nani has previously described ‘The Paradise’ as the most tiring film of his career.

Speaking ahead of the release, the actor said that the film demanded a lot from him physically and mentally.‘The Paradise’ after multiple delays is now set to release on September 24. The makers have also confirmed that they won’t release the trailer of the film as they want to focus on completing the final cut and post-production work with the remaining time.
