“Don’t Make Assumptions”- Kamene Goro Addresses Marriage Speculation After Viral Social Media Post

Translate

Media personality Kamene Goro has shut down rumors regarding the status of her marriage to DJ Bonez, warning fans against drawing conclusions from her social media activity.

Speculation began after the former radio presenter shared an Instagram Story captioned, “Woke up like this…alone…again,” accompanied by the text “If fed-up was a person!” and Bien’s track “I’ll Be Okay” playing in the background. The cryptic posts immediately sparked concern among followers about the couple’s relationship.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Kamene directly addressed the growing rumors, clarifying that her post was misconstrued.

“Guys, let’s get something clear. Just because I woke up alone doesn’t mean I’m single. I’m not!!! Also just because I woke up alone doesn’t mean I’m sad or lonely,” she wrote. “Finally, don’t make assumptions about me; you will mislead yourself terribly.”

While she did not elaborate on DJ Bonez’s whereabouts, her statement firmly rejected narrative claims that their marriage is in trouble.

The couple, who tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2020 followed by a second wedding in 2023, celebrated six years together in January 2026. At the time, Kamene shared a heartfelt tribute acknowledging the ups and downs of their journey, writing, “Only we know the depth and struggle of our journey and why we still keep at it. Hatuwachani, mtangoja.”

Her latest response leaves no doubt that despite brief online speculation, she remains steadfastly married and committed to her partner.
