Emmerdale to reveal new evidence in shock Jimmy and Sadie story

Emmerdale will unleash new evidence in the show's dramatic Jimmy King death storyline next week.

Jimmy's reputation is currently being tarnished as his ex-wife Sadie is exploiting his recent death to manipulate the villagers.

Viewers have seen Sadie shamelessly lie to Jimmy's grieving widow Nicola, falsely claiming that they'd been back together for three years.

Nicola initially scoffed at Sadie's claims that Jimmy was living a double life. However, she soon changed her stance when Sadie produced various pieces of "proof" to back up her tall tale.

Next week, Nicola's thoughts turn to Jimmy's funeral, as she still wants to give him the send-off that he deserves.

Jimmy's young son Carl wants to make a video to be shown at the service and looks for pictures on Jimmy's laptop.

However, when Carl stumbles across secret voice messages on the device, his mum's curiosity is piqued...

Grabbing the laptop from Carl, Nicola listens to the messages, hoping to find answers about Jimmy's double life with Sadie. What will Nicola learn about her late husband?

"This could be a make-or-break moment for Sadie's ongoing deceit," warns our Emmerdale source. "Robert Sugden has already figured out that Sadie is lying in a cruel money-making scam, so if the voice messages prove this, there could be hell to pay with Nicola!

"However, another possibility is that the voice messages only make Jimmy look more guilty. We know that he was secretly in touch with Sadie before he died, so there's every chance that evidence of this could be misconstrued. Fans will have to tune in to see which way it goes…"

Patsy Kensit, who plays Sadie, recently told us: "Sadie is a desperate woman. She has come back for a big reason. She'll stop at nothing and it's interesting to see how far she'll go. When Sadie has her mind set on something, she's going to try her hardest to get it."

She added: "There are some fun scenes. And once Nicola gets to the bottom of what Sadie's about, oh my God, it's going to be drama."
