Strictly Come Dancing confirms couple eliminated after first-ever triple dance-off

Strictly Come Dancing viewers bid goodbye to another couple following tonight's (Sunday 1 October) results show, with Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystał exiting the competition.
They came up short in Strictly’s first ever three-couple dance-off, competing against Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu and Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu after finding themselves in the bottom.
The three couples took to the dancefloor to perform their routines again, with Bethany and Nancy performing their Jive to 'I’m In Love With a Monster' by Fifth Harmony, Jaime and Carlos performing their Salsa to 'Filthy/Gorgeous' by Scissor Sisters, and Lawrence and Jowita performing their Tango to 'Ghostbusters' by Ray Parker Jr.

After the couples danced for survival, it came time for the judges to deliver their verdicts, with each announcing who they'd chosen to eliminate.
Head judge Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood all chose to eliminate Lawrence and Jowita, ensuring they'd be the next couple leaving the competition.
Motsi Mabuse also confirmed that if her vote had been required, she too would have chosen to eliminate Lawrence and Jowita.
At the top of the week's scoreboard, Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola notched up 37 points with each judge awarding them a nine for their Charleston to 'Crazy Stupid Love' by Cheryl Cole featuring Tinie Tempah.

Last week's top scorers, Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita, dropped down the board into ninth place, with their Quickstep to 'Black Magic' by Little Mix pulling in 25 points from the judges.
The results show continued last night's spooky theme, with the Professionals performing a Halloween group routine to 'Dracula' by Tame Impala, which featured a vocal cameo from British acting royalty Sir Ian McKellen.
There was also a musical performance from Becky Hill, with accompaniment from Strictly Pros Aleksandra Isaeva and Cristian Priori.
The surviving 10 couples will again take to the dancefloor next week at 6.30pm on Saturday 7 November, with the results show airing the following night at 7.10pm.
