Vice President Sara Duterte on Friday arrived at the Quezon City Hall of Justice for her arraignment on grave threats charges filed against her.

Duterte's arraignment was set at 8:30 a.m. The court rescheduled it from September 11 after granting her camp's request for postponement.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on August 11 filed three counts of grave threat charges against Duterte in connection with remarks she made in an online press conference in 2024.

During the press conference, Duterte said she had already talked to someone to kill President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and then House Speaker Martin Romualdez if anything happened to her.

On September 4, Branch 98 of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court issued a warrant of arrest for Duterte over three counts of grave threats.
