  • Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday said that the military-grade version of SpaceX's (SPCX) Starlink satellite network in Ukraine considered critical in its ongoing war with Russia has been restored to full speed.
  • "The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions," he wrote on X. "The speeds are now where they need to be."
  • Ukrainian drones that rely on Starlink's Starshield satellite network are now operating at 250 miles per hour (ca. 402 km/h), the same as before speeds were slowed earlier this month, The New York Times reported.
  • On Oct. 14, the Ukrainian military reported that Starlink speeds were throttled, negatively impacting their operations.
  • President Trump last week reportedly asked Elon Musk to restore Starlink speeds in Ukraine after the SpaceX CEO allegedly limited them.
