Star Of ‘Horrible Histories’ & ‘Tracey Ullman’s Show’ Launches Talent Agency For Kids

Translate

EXCLUSIVE: Horrible Histories star Dominique Moore has launched a development talent agency for kids.

DMA Talent opens with around 10 clients including Waffle’s After School Club actor Sienna Grey Moore along with an agent, Geri Spicer, and employees focused on wellbeing and safeguarding.

From age six to adulthood, DMA Talent will work with specialists and industry experts to support young talent, their parents, carers and agents at all stages of the process; from training to auditions and callbacks, throughout the filming process with an in-house chaperone team, as well as offering specialist aftercare when projects finish.

Moore is an actor who has appeared in the likes of hit CBBC series Horrible Histories, in which she played iconic figures from history like Rosa Parks and Mary Seacole. Other credits include the BBC and HBO’s Tracey Ullman’s Show, and BBC Three’s Barely Legal.

DMA Talent’s MO is about providing wellbeing support and pastoral care. Moore has spent 10 years mentoring via DMA London and the not-for-profit DMA Foundation. Through these bodies, she has mentored likes of Maddie Evans (House of the Dragon), Cole Martin (My Name Is Leon), Isabella Sermon (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) and Evie Templeton (Wednesday). DMA London launches with backing from the likes of Industry star David Jonsson.

Moore said DMA Talent can “set a new standard for how young talent in our industry is developed and cared for.”

“My work has always been mission first and rooted in bringing people together,” she added. “I believe that storytelling can create change in the world, and that DMA Talent is the next step in the DMA journey – alongside the DMA Foundation and DMA London – in ensuring the next generation of talent can not only access opportunities but grow into the people and artists they want to be.”
