James Cameron is inviting audiences back to Pandora with a new collector’s edition of “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” arriving on digital platforms and 4K Ultra HD on Dec. 8.

The special release, available on Prime Video, will feature more than nine hours of bonus material, including deleted and extended scenes, behind-the-scenes footage and an awards-season conversation with Miley Cyrus, who contributed the film’s end-title ballad, “Dream as One.”

The newly released footage includes scenes exploring the relationship between Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), as well as additional storylines involving their children and returning antagonist Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang). One deleted sequence sees Jake and Spider held captive at the RDA’s Bridgehead facility, while others follow Lo’ak’s pursuit of Payakan, the Sully family’s escape from the Ash People and an alternate death for General Ardmore.

The edition will also feature “Fire and Water: Making the Avatar Films,” a two-part behind-the-scenes documentary, along with performance-capture demonstrations featuring Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Lang and Oona Chaplin. Additional extras include scene breakdowns, cast and filmmaker panels, and tribute to late “Avatar” producer Jon Landau.

The physical edition will also include archival material, including the screenplay and production art.

Released theatrically in December 2025, “Avatar: Fire and Ash” marked the third installment in Cameron’s blockbuster franchise, following 2009’s “Avatar” and 2022’s “Avatar: The Way of Water.” The film follows Jake and Neytiri as they navigate the aftermath of their family’s losses while confronting a new Na’vi clan known as the Ash People, led by Chaplin’s Varang.

The sequel grossed $1.5 billion worldwide and an Academy Award for best visual effects.

The “Avatar: Fire and Ash” Collector’s Edition will be available Dec. 8.
