Translate

Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty received Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk on Sunday, August 23, 2026, to discuss ways to enhance coordination and integration with state institutions and support Egypt’s economic and financial efforts through Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad in line with the state’s economic priorities.

Kouchouk also held a meeting with Egyptian ambassadors appointed to head diplomatic missions abroad to review the state’s economic and financial policy priorities, as well as highlight economic reform efforts and opportunities for enhancing cooperation and investment.

The meeting also discussed ways for Egyptian embassies to support efforts to promote the Egyptian economy, highlight investment and trade opportunities, and strengthen engagement with international financial institutions and business communities in host countries.

The efforts are aimed at strengthening the role of economic diplomacy, supporting the state’s efforts to attract investment and increase exports, and opening new markets for Egyptian products.
