Under the MC No. MVL-5271 dated July 29, 2026, the LTO extended the validity of vehicle registrations and other permits that would expire beginning on July 1, 2026. This was implemented due to a series of technical issues affecting the LTMS.
(To avoid an influx of renewals and to provide enough time for everyone, the LTO has set a grace period and definite schedule for renewal without additional fees or penalties.)
