While reports have been circulating about how Prince Harry has been looking forward to making a documentary about his mother, Princess Diana, the project has been met with a lot of criticism and obstacles.

Columnist Rob Shuter recently shared details about how a lot of people close to Diana, specifically her sisters, are not that keen on the documentary about her life being made.Read ahead to know more about the matter.

Princess Diana’s sisters against Prince Harry’s pitch to make a documentary about his mother

On his blog page, ‘Naughty but Nice,' Rob Shuter shared that Princess Diana’s sisters are not keen on helping Prince Harry with the documentary about his mother’s life. Not only that, but a lot of members of the palace have stayed away from the entire ordeal.

He shared a statement on his page that read, "Nobody has to threaten anyone. People understand the consequences: help Harry tell his version of Diana's story, and the palace door could slam shut.

"He shared that Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes have already declined to take part in the documentary, and a lot of other people who had been approached have also said no to the opportunity, although they have kept close relations with Prince Harry, Prince William, and other members of the royal family.

Another report from Page Six stated that Prince Harry had been building relations with Charles, Earl Spencer, Princess Diana’s brother, in order to confirm his appearance in the documentary. However, Earl has shared some notes in his recent book about his sister on how he did not wish to become the "talking head" in programs about her. Another Telegraph report earlier this week on how Harry has been involved in discussions to mark the 30th anniversary of his mother’s passing.

A statement from the report read: "Nothing has been finalized or confirmed, and he is still considering the most meaningful way to honor her legacy during this important anniversary year."Meanwhile, there have been no comments from Prince William about whether he is supporting his brother’s endeavors or not.
