‘Emily in Paris’ Jets to Greece in Glam First Look at Final Season

How will it all end for Emily in Paris? Netflix has dropped a first look at the sixth and final season teasing that answer.

Starring Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, Emily in Paris — which is currently in production in France on the remaining final episodes, which all release Dec. 24. — will travel to Greece for season six. And by the looks of the first photos (below), Emily seems to be jetting off to meet her on-again, off-again chef boyfriend Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), picking up where season five left off.

Season five ended with Emily choosing to return to Paris after opening a Rome office of the marketing agency she works for and starting (and ending) a new romantic relationship.

“I wanted the final season to feel like the biggest Emily in Paris experience yet,” says creator Darren Star of what’s in store. “We went to multiple locations this season, and Greece was somewhere we really wanted to showcase in a spectacular way. That’s part of the fantasy of Europe: you’re always within reach of another extraordinary place, another culture, another adventure. I wanted the audience to have that vicarious experience of traveling right along with Emily.”

Here’s the official season-six logline: “Stepping into a new era of ambition and romance, Emily faces defining choices that test her ultimate loyalties. But as unexpected career conflicts and shifting relationships force her to reevaluate where her true future lies, she must make one final choice between her career, her heart, and the life she’s built in Paris.”

Along with star and producer Collins, the cast includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Minnie Driver (Princess Jane) and Paul Forman (Nico).

Star is creator, executive producer and writer. Executive producers also include Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Alison Brown, Robin Schiff, Grant Sloss, Joe Murphy, Stephen Brown, Ryan McCormick and Raphaël Benoliel.
