FLPP subsidized housing mortgage reach 147,871 units: BP Tapera

Translate

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) recorded that, as of September 10, 2026, the disbursement of subsidized home mortgages (KPR) under the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) had reached 147,871 housing units.

“As of September 10, national disbursement of FLPP subsidized mortgages had reached 147,871 housing units, with a total financing value of around Rp18.4 trillion,” BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho said in a statement here on Friday.

According to Heru, the achievement is part of the government’s 2026 FLPP distribution target of 350,000 housing units.

To improve affordability and expand access to financing for low-income communities (MBR), the government is offering a financing term option of up to a maximum of 40 years.

BP Tapera Director of Cooperation and Financing Policy Alfian Arif explained that the KPR FLPP program provides various benefits and options, including a financing term of up to 40 years.

The 40-year term is the maximum option available, meaning applicants can choose a shorter term based on their financial capacity and applicable financing provisions.

To qualify for the KPR FLPP program, applicants must be Indonesian citizens who have never received government housing subsidies or financing assistance, whether through a mortgage or a self-help housing construction loan.

Applicants must also be unmarried or married couples, must not already own a home, and must have an income that does not exceed the MBR threshold set under Ministerial Regulation No. 5 of 2025 on Housing and Settlement Areas.

The public is also encouraged to use digital channels to check the availability of subsidized housing, making it easier to find homes that match their needs and financial capacity.

BP Tapera continues to strengthen public education and coordination with the government, banks, developers, and other stakeholders to expand access for MBR households to decent and affordable housing and support the achievement of the Three Million Houses Program.
