Chvrches Return With First Song in Three Years

Chvrches are back with their first song in three years and the salvo of a new era following 2021’s Screen Violence. Listen to “Roses” below. Lauren Mayberry, who released a solo album after that last Chvrches LP, said in a press release, “This is the longest break we had ever taken between albums and when we got together to write new music, we wanted to really push ourselves and not be retreading ground we’d walked before. I really think we achieved that. It feels like the most coherent vision we’ve had as a band. We’re excited to be back...”

The band has also announced underplays at undisclosed venues in Glasgow and London, on October 26 and 29, respectively, with proceeds going to charity. The single is being released via Futures.
