Sources: Cardinals finalizing deal to trade WR Harrison Jr.

Translate

The Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a deal to trade Marvin Harrison Jr., sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Cardinals informed Harrison that he will be inactive for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions as the trade is completed.

Speculation that the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL draft could be moved by the Nov. 10 trade deadline heated up in the past few weeks. Helping fuel that speculation is Harrison's decision to hire Todd France and Tory Dandy as his agents Sept. 23, according to the NFLPA online database. Harrison did not have an agent prior to then.

Harrison has five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown through four games this season. His 12 targets are the fifth most on the Cardinals; tight end Trey McBride, wide receivers Michael Wilson and Kendrick Bourne and running back Jeremiyah Love all have more.

Harrison's only touchdown of the season came in Sunday's 36-24 loss to the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
