MANILA, Philippines – Senator-judge Lito Lapid broke his silence during Day 17 of Vice President Sara Duterte’s mpeachment trial on Monday, asking former SDO Gina Acosta whether it had been confirmed that a real “Lapid” received confidential funds.

“Magpapasalamat po ako sa defense kung totoo na nabigayn ang kamag-anak ko,” Lapid said.
