Jonathan David has well and truly rediscovered his form since leaving Juventus on loan, scoring two goals with one assist in two Atletico Madrid appearances.
The Canada international had struggled so badly to find any kind of confidence wearing the Bianconeri jersey after signing for them as a free agent in July 2025.
There were eight goals and five assists in 47 official games for the Old Lady.
David reborn with Atletico Madrid

He made the move to Atletico Madrid on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season worth €25m, and if the start is anything to go on, the Colchoneros may well pay up to make that permanent.
David found the net in both his LaLiga games against Real Sociedad and Osasuna, also adding an assist to his tally in this evening’s 4-0 victory.
