Saudi-led coalition says new attack at Riyadh airport causes fire, day after strike kills 12

Translate

The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said on Sunday that an "unidentified projectile" targeted Terminal 4 at Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport.

The attack on the terminal sparked a fire that authorities are working to contain, Al Arabiya reported in a post on X/Twitter.

The coalition said its air defenses intercepted a missile near the airport.

It did not provide further details, but the statement came a day after an attack on the airport killed at least 12 people and wounded more than 300 others.
