Rugby League World Cup 2026 presenters on Premier Sports: Meet the pundits and commentators

The Rugby League World Cup 2026 has arrived and is set to serve up a month of hard-hitting, high-octane action.
England are represented in all four tournaments – men's, women's, wheelchair, and physical disability rugby league – while Wales are set to join them in the women's event, and both Scotland and Wales have wheelchair teams in attendance.
There's a shake-up to the coverage for this year's tournament in Australia, with Premier Sports taking over from the BBC, who showed every game four years ago but opted not to bid for the rights this time around.
All 18 men's World Cup fixtures will be shown live on Premier Sports, as well as England matches from the women's and wheelchair tournaments, including the semi-finals and finals from both those tournaments.
A subscription is required and starts from £12.99 per month. Subscribers can tune in to Premier Sports on TV, online or on a variety of devices including laptops, smartphones and tablets via their app.
A new broadcaster means a new studio line-up, so who are the faces UK fans will be seeing a lot of over the next month?
Radio Times brings you the cast of Rugby League World Cup 2026 presenters and commentators working across Premier Sports.
Megan Wellens (Presenter)

A familiar face for fans of the Super League, Megan Wellens will be the Premier Sports host for every England Men's and Women's fixture at the Rugby League World Cup 2026.
Wellens has been a central part of Sky Sports's coverage of rugby league and darts in recent years and also hosts the Meg & Matt: Sin Bin Sessions podcast alongside fellow journalist Matt Shaw.
Kevin Brown (Analyst)

Former Super League stalwart and England international Kevin Brown will be joining Wellens during the tournament as one of the analysts.
The 42-year-old, who started his career at Wigan Warriors, featured most for Huddersfield Giants but made the Super League and Challenge Cup finals with Warrington Wolves.
Brown helped England reach their first Rugby League World Cup final in 2022 and started in the defeat to Australia.
Leon Pryce (Analyst)

A four-time Super League and six-time Challenge Cup winner during his lengthy playing career, Leon Pryce is best known for long stints at Bradford Bulls and St Helens.
Pryce also represented England and Great Britain, while he is currently the head coach of York Valkyrie in the Women's Super League.
Emily Rudge (Analyst)

Rounding out the team of analysts is former England captain Emily Rudge.
The 34-year-old, who enjoyed a long spell at St Helens, called time on her playing career at the end of the 2026 season.
Rudge represented her country at four Rugby League World Cups – 2008. 2013, 2017 and 2021.
Premier Sports will use match coverage from Channel 7 in Australia for Rugby League World Cup 2026.
Andrew Voss, who fans may recognise from his hosting role for Premier Sports during the 2013 tournament, is the lead commentator.
He will be joined by a host of ex-players, including England's most capped player James Graham, legendary Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson, former Roosters and Catalan Dragons player Luke Keary, Australian cross-code star Shontelle Stowers, former Australia international Brett Kimmorley and sideline reporter Jelisa Apps.
