The time-bending mysteries of The End of Oak Street are about to return.
Written and directed by It Follows' David Robert Mitchell and produced by J.J. Abrams, the sci-fi mystery thriller primarily centers on the Platt family as their eponymous suburban street in Michigan is suddenly transported to a world filled with prehistoric creatures, putting them in a harrowing fight for survival and to determine the truth behind their journey. Led by Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway, The End of Oak Street scored solid reviews from critics upon its August 2026 release, with praise directed towards Mitchell's direction, its good-hearted family story and central mystery.
Nearly three months after the film first hit theaters, The End of Oak Street has officially been set for an HBO Max streaming premiere. The J.J. Abrams-produced sci-fi mystery thriller will debut on the Skydance platform on November 13, while subsequently making its debut on HBO's TV channel on Saturday, November 14 at 8 p.m. EST.
