Army’s 4ID unveils Camp Evangelista museum in CDO
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The storied legacy of the Army’s 4th Infantry Division (4ID) found a refreshed home on Monday, September 7, with the formal unveiling of the newly renovated Borromeo Hall at Camp Evangelista here.
Transformed into the official 4ID Museum, the upgraded facility now features an audio-visual room and a mini library built to safeguard and showcase the division’s decades of military heritage, traditions, and combat history.

The full overhaul was made possible through the sponsorship of Jose Vicente “Lito” Cabrera Sr. and his family — wife Denvi Tiu Cabrera, son Jose Vicente “JV” Jr., and daughter Michelle Cabrera Francisco.

The project was executed through 4ID’s Civil-Military Operations office (G7), with key support from the logistics office (G4), the 4th Installation Management Battalion, the Post Engineer Detachment, OLB Architectural Services, and the museum’s curatorial and historical team.
“This initiative would not have been made possible without the generosity and support of Mr. Cabrera,” said Maj. Gen. Marion Angcao, 4ID commander, during the ceremony.
“Sir, your contribution has helped us create a place where the history and legacy of those who served can be remembered and appreciated,” he added.
