Coronation Street reveals Jodie aftermath as David and Shona face police scrutiny

Coronation Street's David and Shona Platt realise their troubles are far from over in a rare Sunday episode tomorrow night (11 October).
As Shona frets that she could be arrested at any moment, a conversation with DS Lisa Connor-Swain does little to ease her fears.

David and Shona are currently awaiting Jodie Ramsey's next move after the shocking shooting incident at the Platt house.
Shona accidentally shot her sister during a furious showdown, then lied to the police about the circumstances behind Jodie's near-death experience. Jodie has since made it clear that she holds all the cards, keeping Shona and David guessing over whether she'll back up their story.
In a new clip from Sunday's episode, the Platt house is still a crime scene and Shona is frustrated that she can't go home.
She also worries that it's only a matter of time before the police swoop in to bring her to justice.
"It was an accident – you didn't know it [the gun] was real," David reminds his wife. "The only way they're going to know is if Jodie says anything."

Soon enough, Lisa approaches and asks whether David and Shona have spoken to Jodie that day. She appears surprised when they confirm that they haven't been in touch to check on her.
Much to the couple's alarm, Lisa insists that they'll have to come down to the station for some follow-up questions about the shooting.
Has Lisa already noticed the flaws in the Platts' story – and is she hoping that they'll slip up?
And with so much resting on what Jodie says, will she keep her sister out of prison?
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
