Nicole Scherzinger Posted Pic of Serious Leg Burns Caused By Boiling Water Right Before Pussycat Dolls Gig: ‘The Show Must Go On’

Nicole Scherzinger is not one to let a preshow accident affect her performance. Even if that accident causes serious burns on her body just before showtime. On Sunday (Sept. 27), the singer posted pics of the burns and blisters on one of her legs she said she suffered after boiling water was spilled on her just moments before the Pussycat Dolls were slated to take the stage at PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Saturday (Sept. 26).

According to People, in a since-expired Instagram Story, Scherzinger, 48, shared the image of her leg with burn marks and blisters along with the caption, “Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set — but the show must go on. Thanks Düsseldorf for keeping me going. See you soon Amsterdam.”
Tony-winner Scherzinger is currently on the PCD Forever reunion world tour with the group, which returned as a trio earlier this year with the single “Club Song.” Along with Scherzinger, the PSD lineup on the road includes Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts, with former members Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton not part of this revival.
Back in May, the group canceled all but one of their planned North American PCD Forever tour dates, pulling all their arena and amphitheater stops except for an appearance at the WeHo Festival in Los Angeles on June 6, in what the group called a “difficult and heartbreaking decision.” At the time, the group gave no official reason for the cancellation of the dates. The PCD Forever tour, the group’s first outing since they broke up in 2010, was slated to kick off in Palm Desert, Calif. on June 5.
Founding members Scherzinger, Wyatt and Roberts revived PCD earlier this year following a brief reunion as a quintet in 2019. The Dolls launched in 2005 behind the group’s PCD debut album, which featured the top 5 Billboard Hot 100 anthems “Don’t Cha” (No. 2 peak) feat. Busta Rhymes and the Snoop Dogg-assisted “Buttons” (No. 3 peak).
The next scheduled date on the tour is on Tuesday (Sept. 29) at Utilita Arena in Birmingham, U.K.
