Hayley Williams knows just how to make a room full of rock music fans lose it — and apparently she knows how to make SZA lose it as well.

During her Sept. 30 stop in Auburn, Washington, on The Hayley Williams Show, the Paramore frontwoman slipped into a performance of SZA’s 2017 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Love Galore.” A fan-captured video of the moment shows Williams singing a bit of the song onstage, putting her own sultry spin on the R&B track with the help of her band.

Shortly after the video circulated online, SZA caught wind and reposted it on her own Instagram Story with a loving stamp of approval: “I really love her so much.”

Williams is now able to add this moment to the long list of things to celebrate, alongside the solo headlining tour supporting her latest album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. The 2025 album became her highest-charting solo album on the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 12.

Williams has spent much of her career at the intersection of rock, pop and alternative music, first breaking through as the frontwoman of Paramore. The band has earned 11 Billboard Hot 100 entries, including one top 10, while their 2013 self-titled album became the group’s first No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

“Love Galore,” meanwhile, holds its own significance in SZA’s catalog. The Travis Scott-assisted track marked her first appearance on the Hot 100, eventually reaching No. 32 on the chart.

Williams has been pulling from outside her own catalog during her current run: Earlier performances on the tour have incorporated songs by artists including Nina Simone and Portishead.
