Antonio Banderas To Be Honored As Agent Of Change At TelevisaUnivision’s Premios Juventud

Antonio Banderas will be honored at the 2026 Premios Juventud as the Agent of Change.

TelevisaUnivision‘s award show is heading to Marbella and recognizing the Spanish actor for his impact on education, social action, and community development.

The Agent of Change award is bestowed on artists who leverage their platform to transform communities and inspire new generations. Banderas’ commitment to community well-being is evident in projects focused on education, social action, and expanding opportunities for vulnerable populations.

In 2010, he established the Lágrimas y Favores Foundation as a social impact vehicle in Málaga designed to strengthen year-round solidarity efforts by supporting cultural and educational initiatives, as well as charitable organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for those most in need.

For the 2026 Premios Juventud gala, TelevisaUnivision partnered with Spanish broadcaster RTVE to bring Latin music and pop culture to European audiences.

For the first time in Spain, the broadcast will kick off with the Noche de Estrellas de Premios Juventud red carpet pre-show, featuring interviews, behind-the-scenes access, musical performances, and fashion. I

In the United States, the ceremony will air live coast-to-coast on Univision, UniMás, Galavisión, ViX, and YouTube on Thursday, September 3, starting at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT / 4 p.m. PT, while in Mexico it will air on Canal 5 at 5 p.m (local time).

The main gala will air live from Starlite Marbella, Spain, starting at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
