Charlotte Flair is back on WWE SmackDown, and she has already given fans a look at her return. The 18-time champion showed up on the November 6 episode, which was taped after RAW in Brooklyn, New York. Flair had been out since The Baddies attacked her on the October 9 show, which left her unable to compete in a Women's Tag Team Championship match. Alexa Bliss took her place and won the titles with Tatum Paxley that night. Flair's comeback came in the middle of a chaotic title match, where she joined Bayley and Bliss in fighting off The Baddies and Fatal Influence. The segment also seemingly pointed toward a Women's WarGames match this year.
Charlotte Flair Shows Off Her New Gear After Returning to WWE SmackDown
After the taping, Flair posted several photos and videos on Instagram showing her look and new wrestling gear. The caption also thanked the people behind her appearance.
The Queen was attacked backstage by Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab before her scheduled title match on October 9, and Bliss stepped in to team with Paxley.
They beat Fatal Influence's Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid to win the Women's Tag Team Championship, but their run with the gold lasted only 14 days.
The Baddies took the titles on October 23, when Michin pinned Paxley after Cargill interfered. At the November 6 taping, Henley and Reid challenged Michin and B-Fab for the championship in the first televised defense.
That match ended in a no-contest after Cargill, Jacy Jayne and Paxley got into a brawl. Paxley had hit Cargill with a bodypress, and after that everyone started fighting.
Charlotte Flair Joins Bayley and Alexa Bliss in the Fight Against The Baddies
Bayley, Flair and Bliss then came out and cleared the ring, so Flair's return brought another ally into the fight against Fatal Influence and The Baddies.
Bayley had already teamed up with The Twisted Dolls and Bliss after The Baddies attacked her following a verbal exchange on RAW.
Flair adds another name to that group, in a title scene that already has several factions.
After the brawl, Flair, Bliss, Paxley and Bayley reportedly issued a WarGames challenge in a backstage segment. That's what makes the Women's WarGames match look likely.
Survivor Series is the next big show on the calendar, and the babyface side is still one person short of a full team.
Paxley, who built a strong partnership with Bliss while Flair was away, also reacted to the title loss on X. She hoped the returning star hadn't seen what happened.
“Really hope @MsCharlotteWWE didn't see what happened last night! No one tag her and maybe she won't know!!!!!”
Paxley and Bliss held the championship for just two weeks before losing it. Whether The Twisted Dolls and Paxley will be part of the Women's WarGames match remains unclear.
