Northern Ireland travel to Georgia on Friday night as both sides get their 2026/27 Nations League campaigns underway.

Michael O'Neill's side failed to qualify for this summer's World Cup after losing against Italy in the play-off semi-finals and they'll be desperate to pick up a few positive results in the Nations League.

After securing promotion from League C in the previous edition of the tournament, Northern Ireland will be competing in League B, Group B2 and they'll face tough competition in Georgia, Hungary and Ukraine.

Georgia also failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup but Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and co. impressed at Euro 2024 in their only major tournament appearance to date.

Georgia, who reached the round of 16 at Euro 2024 while beating Portugal along the way, have been promoted from Nations League Group D to Group B since 2018 and they'll be hoping to secure promotion once again.
