Eredivisie: Arokodare Salvages Draw For Ajax Against Excelsior
Tolu Arokodare came off the bench to rescue a point for Ajax in their Eredivisie home clash against Excelsior on Saturday night.
Julian Brandt put Ajax ahead two minutes after the half-hour mark, but Excelsior responded strongly as Lennar Hartjes equalised in first-half stoppage time.
The visitors then completed the turnaround in the 62nd minute when Aymen Sliti fired Excelsior into the lead for the first time in the game.

However, Arokodare restored parity for Ajax just two minutes later, finishing shortly after replacing Kasper Dolberg to make it 2-2.
The goal was the Nigeria international’s sixth across all competitions for the Dutch giants this season.
Ajax remain second in the Eredivisie standings with 14 points from seven matches.
Michel’s side will return to league action on Saturday, October 10, when they host NEC Nijmegen.
