Scott McTominay was given a standing ovation as he made his return to the field for Napoli, a month on from surgery to correct a benign cardiac arrhythmia.
The Scotland international only played in the first two Serie A matches this season against Genoa and Como, the most recent on August 30.
McTominay back after health scare

He was diagnosed with a mild, benign arrhythmia, and it was decided that he should have heart surgery to correct the issue.
That was performed in Manchester on September 8 and it required two weeks of complete rest, followed by a gradual return to training.
The 29-year-old required a set of tests with the CONI (Italian Olympic Committee), which oversees all sport in Italy, before he was allowed back in full training with his Napoli teammates.

McTominay got the all-clear on Wednesday, and made his return to the pitch during this evening’s Serie A match against Frosinone.
His name was called to the crowd, who responded with great enthusiasm to the comeback in place of David Neres.
