Snoop Dogg is the latest celebrity to appear in Hitman: World Of Assassination, playing elusive target Dr Crysu Cane.

Hitman: World Of Assassination launched in 2023 and brought together the best bits of the original Hitman trilogy. Since then, a number of limited-edition missions have been added to the stealth shooter with a number of celebrities also getting involved.

Already this year, Wiz Khalifa, Eminem and Dmitri Vegas have joined Hitman: World Of Assassination as elusive targets and now Snoop Dogg is being added to the game as part of the new The Herbalist mission.

Available from tomorrow (August 27) until September 26, 2026, The Herbalist mission sees Agent 47 going up against Dr. Cyrus Cane, “an eccentric entrepreneur famed the world over for his wide-ranging and unconventional business ventures.”

“His newest venture, Morsizzles, a cookie product gearing up for a worldwide launch, is poised to earn millions as buzz over its addictive taste spreads rapidly through social media and investment circles alike. However, beneath the hype lies a darker truth: an investigation has surfaced evidence of cover-ups linked to several deaths during internal product testing. To stop the launch and fulfil the contract, Dr. Cane must be permanently removed as the face of Morsizzles, and the product must disappear. “

A new snack 🍪 is about to take the world by storm, and it’s up to you to serve Dr. Cyrus Cane a taste of his own medicine. 🎯

The mission delivers a brand-new character and an all-new storyline set on Haven Island. “The rap icon lends both his likeness and voice to the mission, bringing his unmistakable presence and personality to Agent 47’s world in a way only Snoop Dogg can.” He’ll be joined by his son Cordell C. Broadus, marking the first joint appearance for the father-son duo within a video game.

“It’s definitely an honour to step into a franchise as legendary as Hitman, with millions of fans. IO Interactive cooked up a truly fine mission, and bringing my son Cordell along for the ride? That’s awesome,” said Snoop in a statement. “The final ingredient that’s missing is how much style the players are going to be able to bring, so let’s see what you can do against Dr. Cyrus Cane.”

Next year, Snoop Dogg will star as Orpheus in Stranger Than Heaven, a new game from the creators of the Like A Dragon series. Other musicians Tori Kelly (Kelly Day), Ado (Keiko Shirai) and Satoshi Fujihara (Takashi) are involved in the game, which will also use Tupac’s likeness for a character. “It just made sense to put him in this game, because his likeness and his spirit still lives on. I just felt like it was so connected to what we’re doing,” said Snoop, defending the decision.

In other news, to celebrate the upcoming one-year anniversary of Dispatch, its soundtrack is getting a vinyl release.
