Italy international Gianluca Scamacca is expected to start in Atalanta’s Conference League game against Ajax, but under-pressure Maurizio Sarri must cope with a selection crisis.
It kicks off at 21:00 CET [20:00 BST], the same time as Bournemouth-Milan in the Europa League.

Atalanta have travelled to Amsterdam without several injured players, as Isak Hien, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Giorgio Scalvini, Giacomo Raspadori, Franck Kessié, Sead Kolašinac and Odilon Kossounou are all sidelined.
Sarri can’t really rotate in defence, so Thomas Kristensen and Relja Obrić will start at centre-back, with Raoul Bellanova at right-back and Lorenzo Bernasconi at left-back.

Eljif Elmas returns to action after serving a one-game ban in Serie A, joining Jonathan Rowe and Charles De Ketelaere behind the sole striker, Scamacca.
Atalanta won their opening Conference League game against Paphos last week, but have been struggling in Serie A, losing four of their last five matches and grabbing just nine points in seven league rounds.

The match will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 8 and HBO Max in the UK and Ireland and on Paramount+ and ViX in the USA. Football Italia will provide live updates via a live blog, which will also include Europa League matches Juventus-Rennes at 18:45 CET and Bournemouth Milan at 21:00 CET.
