He became an internet sensation 15 years ago when footage of his disastrous attempt at streaking was put on YouTube.
Tom Annandale's bid to sprint naked around a tennis court in Port Aventura, Spain, ended abruptly when he ran straight into the court's glass door.
But now the project manager is asking those who enjoyed the 23-second clip to help him raise money to help treat his partner of 20 years, Danyelle Edwards, who is battling cancer.
The original video went viral in 2011 and has been viewed more than 100 million times.
Footage captured him limping off in embarrassment as his friends giggled in the background and bemused tennis players looked on.
In 2013, it featured in the Hollywood comedy We're The Millers, starring Jennifer Aniston.
Ms Edwards, 46, was successfully treated for breast cancer four years ago but it has returned.
She has been told that the disease is at stage four, which is not usually curable, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy at The Christie hospital in Manchester.

Mr Annandale, from Scholar Green, Cheshire, says he wants to raise funds to pay for alternative treatments after her chemotherapy and to allow him to take time off work to care for her.
The 44-year-old writes online: 'Did you like the video? I hope you did. Wondering if you can help me?
'Unfortunately, my girlfriend had cancer four years ago... I am hoping to raise some money to scour the world for a cure, in the short term take some time off work to look after her, or in the long term find a way to cure her – whether that be somewhere abroad or holistic methods.
'I am sure a lot of people have laughed at that video over the years. If you could help me out that would be great.'
