India vs New Zealand 4th T20I Predicted XI: Sooryavanshi vs Samson Dilemma If Ishan Kishan Returns

Having already sealed the series 3-0 with two matches to spare, Team India head into the fourth T20I against New Zealand with the room to experiment a bit. The comfortable cushion allows the team management to shift their focus away from the result and look at tactical balance and workload management. However, the return of wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan, who missed the second and the third T20I due to an injury, could complicate things for the Gautam Gambhir-led team management.
Kishan was sidelined during the second and third matches after pulling up with a low-grade right adductor strain. His groin injury opened the door for young sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who was drafted straight into the action at number three for the second match. Sooryavanshi was then shifted up the order to open in the third game alongside Abhishek Sharma, prompting Sanju Samson to take the No. 3 spot. The opening sent the Kiwi bowling attack to the cleaners, forging a blistering 133-run opening stand that essentially put the contest beyond New Zealand before the powerplay had even settled.
This explosive form leaves the captain and coaching staff facing a genuine tactical headache if medical staff clear Kishan to play in Auckland. Dropping Sooryavanshi right after he dismantled the opposition bowling line-up feels harsh, yet benching Sanju Samson, who moved down to number three to accommodate the youngster, presents its own balance issues. If Kishan returns to reclaim the gloves and a top-order spot, one of Samson or Sooryavanshi will inevitably have to make way.
Beyond the top-order puzzle, the 3-0 scoreline provides the perfect cushion to hand crucial game time to players waiting on the bench. Mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy could well come into the starting side, either giving Axar Patel a well-earned rest or playing alongside him if the surface offers turn.
Similarly, hard-hitting all-rounder Shivam Dube is pushing for inclusion, potentially swapping roles with Nitish Kumar Reddy to add raw power to the lower-middle order. In the fast-bowling department, Mayank Yadav could be rotated with Arshdeep Singh to manage the latter's workload heading into a heavy international schedule.
India's likely playing XI: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (wk), Shreyas Iyer (c), Tilak Varma, Naman Dhir, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Prince Yadav, Mayank Yadav.
