The Papers: 'Power to block nimby protests' and Meghan 'deal could be off'

The Sunday Telegraph reports that Iranian-backed hackers, external disabled a British power plant for four days last month in what the paper calls an "unprecedented" cyber attack. Officials have not said which facility was involved, though it is understood to have been small and with little impact on Britain's wider energy supply.

According to the Sunday Times, Andy Burnham is to give mayors the power to overrule councils, external to force through plans to build more houses, including tower blocks and skyscrapers. The paper says the prime minister is to announce the plans this week.
